A review of 2017

G7 has had another amazing year of growth in terms of employees and number of customers. We would like to say thank you to all of our customers and long may the partnerships continue.

2017 saw many new names join our consultancy team, including Adam Steenkamp, Jeremy Harrold, Keren Bass, Paul Reeves and Prabha Kan - all great Consultants with many years experience of the U4BW software.  G7 also boosted the Payroll and HR expertise on the Application Managed Service desk with the addition of Iffy Ahmed.

2017 saw many new customers enjoying the benefits of the G7 Application Managed Service, taking the total number of customers using this service to over 35.

G7 launched a triage service for one of our long standing Application Managed Service customers, Care UK. The G7 office in St Albans initially takes all calls from Care UK users. The call is then either handled directly by the G7 St Albans Office, passed to the G7 Portishead AMS desk for more complex issues, passed to our partner QuickThink Cloud if of a more technical nature or passed back to Care UK if the issue is on a pre-agreed list of items that the in house team may deal with.

Care UK have said about the service “We have found this service to be an efficient and cost effective way of handling a whole host of support issues”.

Within the G7 Consulting team, we worked alongside Unit4 and also direct with many successful implementations over different sectors.

G7 also achieved ISO9001 and ICO accreditations in 2017. Both sit alongside our Cyber Essentials accreditation, proving the quality of our services and processes.

G7 was successful in being placed on the G-Cloud 8 framework in 2016 and was also successful is being placed on the G-Cloud 9 framework in 2017. The Framework Agreement is for use by UK Public Sector bodies which allows them to choose and purchase cloud computing services covering infrastructure, platform, software and specialist cloud services.

Happy Christmas from all of us at G7!
