Happy Anniversary to the G7 Application Managed Service desk!
On 5th October 2015, G7 expanded its long established Application Managed Service for Lawson, to the Agresso (U4BW) customers.
Gilly Rich and Kate Voisey joined us from Unit4 support and we moved into new offices in Portishead, near Bristol.
By the end of November, we had our first 3 AMS customers; University of the Arts London, Care UK and the University of Bath. The University of Bath had been with us for Lawson AMS and it was great to welcome them back for the Agresso AMS service.
Interest quickly grew in the service and we recruited Steve Carruthers and Paul Walton. In February we were then excited to add Louisa Lewis from the Unit4 tools team. We also recruited an internal technical role, Matt Greening, to support the Agresso AMS desk.
Since then, the demand has continued and we have recently recruited Paul Tippet from Embridge Consulting. Paul will help us support the 18 customers we now have using the service and the long list of interested Agresso customers we are talking to!
We have also seen great growth in our Consulting division, providing a unique blended upgrade service comprising of onsite consultancy and use of the AMS desk, a much more cost and time effective way of upgrading. We have continued to supply resource into Unit4 and a major system integrator and then earlier this year, we were very pleased to agree an alliance with Agilisys.
We have added some great names in the last year to an already strong Consulting team, such as Daren Sherdel, Rob Wilton and Ian Townson - all previously having worked in the Unit4 consulting team.
G7 cover the full suite of Unit4 (Agresso) Business World products; Financials, Logistics, Project, Research, Fixed Assets, HR and Payroll, Reporting, including ARC (Agresso Report Creator), UK products and Tools.
With the G7 Application Managed Service you only pay for the hours you use and use it when you want to. You can take this service as a continuing support service or for a couple of months to help with resource intensive periods. You can use the service for queries, training, issue resolution, housekeeping, testing assistance, loading new data, reporting, assistance with workflows or small development projects – even support for AG16s and triggers; anything your internal systems administrator would cover.
