Ian Townson joins the G7 team
G7 welcomes Ian Townson, previously from Unit4, to the G7 consulting team. Ian has many years' experience of working with the Unit4 Business World (Agresso) product and specialises in Project Costing and Billing, Expenses, Planner and Fixed Assets. With his experience and skill set, Ian is a great addition to the team.
G7 has been a partner of Unit4 since 2001 and covers the full suite of modules including Finance, Logistics, Project Costing and Billing, Research, HR and Payroll. With a team of 35 people we have experience of implementing and upgrading many sites across all sectors.
G7 also offers Application Managed Service for Lawson and Agresso clients. The best way to highlight the benefits that this service can provide is to share what some of our existing clients use the service for;
- G7 becomes the system administrator for the client; adding new users and carrying out update requests directly from the users
- Releasing the client system administrator from business as usual calls; allowing time for development
- The clients team are involved with an upgrade; we are handling the calls from the users
- Offering an alternative to on site consultancy during an upgrade
- Supporting an interface developed by the Unit4 consultancy team, also AG16s and triggers
- Remote build and unit testing
- Concentrated effort over a couple of months to reduce a customer’s list of outstanding issues
- Assistance with upgrading report engine versions
