Lovely recommendation from Qualifications Scotland – Thank you!

After a very busy January, I am delighted that we are live with our part of our transition to Qualifications Scotland in relaunching the Unit 4 ERP system for all of our staff. This was years in the making and thanks to Shanta Reddy and the rest of G7 BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LIMITED for helping us to realise the vision we needed in order to make this work for our new organisation. Can I add this was with minimal down-time and that really speaks volume of the incredible customer service as we felt valued that G7 were just as passionate about minimal impact to our organisation during this period as we were.

I feel like my knowledge of the system has increased ten-fold over the last few weeks and I am so excited to see how we continue to develop this relationship to help us get even more out of the system and in turn our offerings to staff in the very near future!

Go lives rolling in for Unit4 SaaS migrations!

And the go lives keep rolling in!

We are proud to say that another one of our customers - University of Cumbria - has now gone live on the Unit4 SaaS environment! It has been a busy (but successful!) year for us for migrations to the SaaS system, all the way back to our first customer of the year to go live - The Shaw Trust.

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our customers for choosing us as their migration partner and to their teams for working so well alongside us. All of the customers that we have put live on the Unit4 SaaS environment continue to work with us here at G7, both for ongoing consultancy and access to the G7 Application Managed Service which has been great to remain a part of the team.

We are still working on many more active migrations, with lots due to be going live soon!

Happy Christmas From G7

Everyone of us at G7 wish all of our customers, and customers we are yet to meet, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

This year we have seen some movement back to the office for our clients but many remain working from home or split working from home and the office. Indeed, we now offer a 3 day in the office and 2 day working from home policy ourselves for the AMS team.

Many of our clients are still choosing remote workshops and remote consultancy, due to their team being split between home and work, and thus saving on expenses and emissions!

As we reflect on 2022, we have welcomed some new staff including James Knowles on our consulting team and Mike Gaston on our Application Managed Service team.

James is an Application Consultant with over 15 years of experience working client side in project management, business process analysis, implementation and supporting Unit4 ERP in the higher education and public sector.

Mike is a Support Consultant with 9 years experience in supporting Unit4 ERP and Reporting. Mike previously worked client side, supporting their in house Unit4 system.

Both are great additions to our team.

G7 has continued to provide support services, with over 10 new clients being added, across all sectors, including names such as Reed Online, Global Banking School, Capco and University College Birmingham.

G7 has also been involved in new implementations and are currently enjoying working with the American University of Paris on their new implementation of the Unit4 ERP product.

Upgrades and enhancements also continue with many of our customers,

too numerous to mention here!

In November, G7, for the 5th year running, was successful in being placed on the G-Cloud 13 framework, allowing public sector clients an easier way to purchase the services they require.

G7 will then be renewing our ISO accreditations early next year;

ISO 27001 : 2013

ISO 14001 : 2015

ISO 9001 : 2015

G7 successful on G-Cloud for 5th year running!

G-Cloud 13 went live on Wednesday 9th November, and we are pleased to announce that G7 has been placed in the framework for the 5th year running - allowing our customers a quick and easy way to access our services!

G-Cloud 13 is the latest iteration of the government framework managed by the Crown Commercial Service. Approved suppliers are listed on the digital marketplace where UK government departments and public sector bodies can procure cloud-based services without needing to run a full tender or lengthy procurement process.

We are an accredited Unit4 Premier Partner for the Unit4 SaaS products, Hosting and Unit4 ERP services. Premier Services Partners are extensively trained to enable fast implementation, integration solutions and support services - so, using G-Cloud 13, we can get your team up and running very quickly.

Many of our customers have been able to take advantage of this procurement method in the past and we are really excited to be able to offer this again under G-Cloud 13.
